For all non-solid gold jewellery please remove whilst showering, swimming & exercising. Also avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, hair products, oil, bleach, harsh chemicals & polishing cloths -this can affect the finishing on our pieces. Stack Exchange is not responsible for the maintenance of your jewelry.

We strongly recommend against showering with your jewellery on as it can affect the strength & wear of both the plating and the metal. It may also cause discolouration to the finish.

Please clean with a dry soft cloth. Please take note of the cleaning cloth you purchase as different cloths are used for different types of metals.

Make sure the jewellery is kept cool and dry. Please store in the original box provided in between wears to protect them from the elements of daily exposure.

Some people may have reactions to particular plating’s and metals. The most common allergy is nickel plating which unfortunately is used in the colour gold as an alloy.

If your items turn immediately this can be caused by a metal-to-skin oil reaction. Each person’s skin & oils makes metals react in different ways, some being changing colour or rusting. We are not responsible for your skin’s reaction to metal or vise-versa and therefore cannot return or exchange your item because of this reason. We apologise in advance.

Gold plating & rhodium plating turn naturally or fade over time, but there is no way to reverse this. Our brass material will mean that both gold and silver plating will fade to a lovely ombre of golds & silver.

Everyone has a different skin type. Some people have stronger reactions to bronze, nickel and gold plating than others do. If you are susceptible to this type of jewellery we recommend you only purchase solid gold and non-plated jewellery.
